Jennifer Pfeiffer

Jennifer Pfeiffer is the Chief of Staff for the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury. She supports the Comptroller of the Treasury on a wide range of leadership, operational, and oversight matters. Jennifer provides guidance to the Office’s 12 divisions, and she assists the Comptroller as a liaison between the Comptroller’s Office and the Tennessee General Assembly.

Jennifer joined the Comptroller’s Office in 2019 with a broad range of state government and private sector experience. She has served as Deputy Chief of Staff for the Office of the Governor under former Governor Bill Haslam, Chief of Staff for the Department of Children’s Services, and Director of Advertising and Special Events for the Department of Economic and Community Development. Most recently, Jennifer served as Special Executive in Government for Deloitte. She also spent 13 years in Chicago working in various management roles in the hospitality and publishing industries.

Jennifer attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she graduated with a degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations. She is currently a member of the Women’s Political Collaborative of Tennessee.

Jennifer and her husband, Michael Boshers, live in the Germanton neighborhood of Nashville with their Brussel Griffon named Boxwell. She enjoys traveling, reading, strength training, and watching college football.
