Rebecca Mink
Division of Administration
Rebecca Mink is Tennessee’s Small Business Advocate working under the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury. Rebecca answers questions and provides information to Tennessee’s small business owners. She also helps resolve issues by serving as an informal mediator between small business owners and state agencies.
In addition to her role as Small Business Advocate, Rebecca also works within the division of Administration as the Legislative and Special Events Coordinator where she partners with Office leadership and the Communications Teams on a variety of efforts that support employee and legislative engagement.
Originally from Dickson, Tennessee, Rebecca began her career working in communications in the private sector. She then joined the Tennessee General Assembly as a legislative assistant. In 2022, Rebecca began working for the Comptroller’s division of State Audit before transferring to Administration. She was named Small Business Advocate in 2024.
Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science in Communication from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she majored in public relations and minored in business administration. She is also a member of the Nashville Pi Beta Phi Alumnae group.
Rebecca is passionate about state government and the legislative process, and she is known for her ability to successfully manage projects. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys going to concerts, traveling, reading, keeping up with pop culture, and spending time with her family and cat, Margot.
