For the seventh year in a row, the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office has updated its interactive Mapping Tennessee Education. This website hosts several interactive maps on K-12 education data including:

  • all schools and school districts by both House and Senate legislative district,
  • New! increase in average classroom salary from 2019 to 2020 by district,
  • average classroom teacher salary by district,
  • type of school district, and
  • private schools.

The maps allow users to view data such as enrollment, average ACT scores, graduation rates, teacher pay, and demographics for every K-12 public school and school district in the state for the 2019-20 school year. The website is updated annually, and this year’s version includes a new map that highlights the increase in average classroom teacher salaries between the 2018-19 and 2019-20 school years.
