Jordan Flynn
Administration
Jordan Flynn serves as the Deputy General Counsel for the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury. In this role, he provides legal guidance and support to the Office's divisions and assists with legislative matters affecting the Comptroller's Office. He also works closely with agency leadership to address legal, policy, and operational issues that impact the Office's mission to make government work better.
Jordan joined the Comptroller's Office in May of 2022 as an Assistant General Counsel. Prior to his service with the State of Tennessee, Jordan served as University Counsel in The University of Alabama in Huntsville's Office of Counsel, where he advised university leadership on legal matters affecting higher education.
Jordan earned his bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from The University of Alabama School of Law.
Jordan is married to his law school sweetheart, Rachel Parker Flynn. He enjoys trying new restaurants, University of Alabama athletics, running half marathons, and playing fetch in the backyard with his Boykin Spaniel, Hattie Gray.
