Rachelle Cabading

Rachelle Cabading, CGFM, CFE is the Director of the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury’s Office of Management Services. Rachelle is responsible for leading the fiscal, facilities, and human resources operations for the Comptroller’s Office. Rachelle and her team also provide statewide oversight of procurements, including compliance reviews.
Rachelle began her career with the Comptroller’s Office in 1998 working in the division of Local Government Audit (LGA). She was promoted as LGA’s Assistant Director of Administration in 2017 and named director of the Office of Management Services in 2020.
Rachelle is a graduate of Lipscomb University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Management. She is a Certified Government Financial Manager and a Certified Fraud Examiner. Rachelle is also a graduate of LEAD Tennessee and the Tennessee Government Executive Institute. In 2023, she was awarded a certificate of completion for the Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program from John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Executive Education.
Rachelle is a proud member of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). She has held a number of positions including Director at Large for AGA's National Governing Board, president of the Nashville AGA Chapter and Chair for the National AGA Higher Education Committee. She also serves as the Comptroller’s liaison on the Tennessee State Veterans Homes Board.
Rachelle and her husband Ted have one daughter. Rachelle enjoys traveling, reading, watching sports, and spending time with family. She is also an avid fan of the Nashville Predators.
