Advisory Committee on Open Government

The Advisory Committee on Open Government (“ACOG”) will meet on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020 at 1 p.m. (CST) in person and via Webex. This meeting is being conducted by electronic means in accordance with Executive Order No. 16, issued March 20, 2020, by Governor Bill Lee.

1. Approval of Minutes from Oct. 25, 2018 meeting and Sept. 9, 2020 meeting.

2. Discussion and review of proposed legislation to amend the Tennessee Public Records Act that would allow a government entity to petition a court for an injunction against someone who is found to be harassing government employees through public records requests.

3. Discussion of 2018 amendment to the state’s higher education executive search statute and committee report due Nov. 1, 2020.
