Officials to Release Final Independent Review of Memphis Shelby County Schools
Legislative leadership and the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office will hold a news conference on Wednesday, July 8, to release the completed independent review of Memphis Shelby County Schools.
The final report consists of four volumes prepared by CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA): an Internal Controls Assessment and IT Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, a Forensic Audit, a Whitehaven High School Herbert STEM Center Investigation, and a TennCare Evaluation.
Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury Jason Mumpower will provide an overview of the completed review. Representatives from CLA and legislative leaders will discuss the report’s findings, recommendations, and next steps, and will be available to answer questions from members of the media.
